The job is to build a bookcase fitted to a wall in my living room. This would be 5 shelves of 38cm height (divided up in by vertical pieces, mostly into 38cm squares). The shelves will be 23cm deep and 350 cm long (the initial and final vertical strip/set of "squares" being, therefore, not quite square). Filler peices would be top and bottom, pelmet and skirting. There is a large radiator fitted to the wall, around which the shelves need to be fitted. I'd quite like a radiator grill fitted to cover the radiator space. Shelves to be in white and am happy to have them built in mdf (and painted) or your recommendation of materials. The bookcases need to bear a heavy load of books so will need to be strong. I will pay for materials for which a receipt can be produced and will pay cash or by bank transfer on completion of the job. You will need to provide references. If you are also able to spearately estimate materials costs to this design, that would be helpful.
