Search Help - Find and Search Tradesman Jobs.

Looking for a builder, joiner or decorator local to your location? Mr Skill allows you to 'post a job' or simply browse the tradesmen directory to find a local tradesmen.

I'm a tradesman how do I search?

Using the 'post a job' feature you can post your job to 1000's of qualified local tradesmen. Tradesmen will then post quotes or ask you a question about the job before providing you with a competitive price.

Giving you access to the best price quote from a pool of local tradesmen and best of all its completely free!

I'm looking for a tradesmen?

Using our tradesmen directory, you can find qualified tradesmen. If your looking for a builder, joiner or decorater etc.. ( For example in London ) you can simply search for a builder London,Joiner London, Decorator London. Your search results will provide 100's of qualified tradesmen matched to your specific type of work, It's that easy.

Faq Question & Answer

You would like to amend the job details?
If you have posted a job and would like to amend the job details (job title, description, etc) you simply need to log into your account and then go to "My Jobs" >> "Live Jobs".

Next, click on "Change job details" next to the relevant job.

You will then be forwarded to a page when you can modify any part of the job details. Any Quotes that have been submitted on the job already will be rejected and have to be resubmitted by the tradesmen.

You would like to cancel/withdraw a job posting?
Should you wish to cancel/withdraw a job listing because the position has already been filled or because it is no longer required, you can cancel the posting.

To delete your listing, simply log into your Mr-Skill account, and then go to "My Jobs" >> "Live Jobs".

Thereafter, simply navigate to the job posting you wish to cancel. Click on the "Cancel this posting" link in the shown next to the job posting. You will be asked to confirm your choice.

Thereafter, all submitted quotes are automatically rejected and the listing will stop to appear in search results.

What happens when I don't want to hire a tradesman? How can I reject the Quotes?
The homeowner who posted the job can select any of the tradesmen who quotes, or none at all.

If none of the quotes appeal to the homeowner, he can log into his account and select the "Reject all Quotes" option from the Action menu, which informs the tradesmen that their quotes have been rejected.

In the interest of fairness, homeowners are encouraged to reject all quotes as soon as they have reached their decision so that the tradesmen and builders can assign their hours to another project.

To reject all bids go to "My account" >> "My Jobs" >> "Ended Jobs" and select "Reject all Quotes" next to the relevant job posting.

A builder / tradesman submitted a quote through the Question & Answer feature. Is this permitted?
Submitting a Quote through the Question & Answer feature constitutes a breach of our Membership Agreement.

Do no accept quotes from builders in the Question and Answers area, as they have not been submitted in a legitimate way.
