A bathroom, my Grand-Mama always said is a thing that never changes. While she was young they probably never did, and I doubt she ever had a London Plumbing Job done for all the years she lived in Chelsea. These days of course things are very different, and taps are sometimes more designer statements than functional successes.
Did you lie awake last night and think about a waterfall cascading into the bath? Well you could have one of those too, although I doubt you could stick your big toe into it, or whether, after you Find a Plumber they would take you seriously.
Perhaps you prefer a bit of retro. Something that would have had Grand-Mama’s knitting needles clicking furiously? There are hundreds of these to choose from these days, and you could take your pick from chrome, stainless steel, silver-or even gold-plated.
How about something on the side? I am talking taps here, by the way and strictly taps in case you asked. If I was building a new bathroom this is how I would do it personally. After all, why should Partner have to put up with a tap sticking in their back?
When all is said and done, there is a lot to say for simplicity too. My Dad taught me to keep it simple stupid and kiss success. I think that he was right. Do you? Another of the simple sensible things in life is Mr-Skill. Did you now that you can Find a Plumber there?

As the quality of water on our overpopulated planet continues to degrade, and authorities pump it full with more and more chemicals to make it safe to drink, even people living in the most advanced societies are turning to water purifiers in the interests of their health. Plumbers London based especially, report steadily increasing demand and can see no end in sight of this.
If you are handy and have the right tools then you might even be able to do the job yourself. If not, it could be better to avoid flooding expensive kitchen cabinetry, and find a plumber on Mr-Skill to do the work for you instead.
o Install the water purifier in a suitable place under the kitchen sink according to the supplier’s instructions, making sure that the connections are accessible and that is does not get in the way of other priorities. When you have connected up to it, you will find freshest cleanest water in the cold tap every time.
o Turn off the water supply at the mains. Open the sink tap. Drain the cold water in the pipes at the lowest point in your home. Place a bucket in a suitable place to catch water spills before cutting through the cold water supply line at a convenient point underneath the sink. Drain the remaining water into the bucket before adding an inline tap, closing this and turning on the water mains again.
o Connect the outlet side of the inline tap to the pipe going to the sink using suitable compression joints. Use two spanners to tighten these in order avoid straining other connection points in the line.
o Close the sink tap. Turn on the inline tap and check for leaks. Turn on the sink tap and let the water run until is flows clean. Now your job is done.
If you are not comfortable with the above, do not take a chance and end up with burst pipes and no water in the house. It is better to rest easy by getting plumber quotes from Mr-Skill.

A new craze in bathroom safety is developing with the colour-changing GlowFlow tap lights. Not only an attractive feature to a bathroom sink, these lights change colour according to the temperature of the water – great for teaching kids when water is too hot and preventing them from being scalded.
The lights are battery operated and respond to the tap being turned on, with an LED bulb initially shining blue to indicate that the water is cold and then changing to red once the temperature of the water reaches 30 degrees. As soon as you introduce more cold water via the mixer tap, the colour of the bulb returns to blue and indicates that the water is safe to run your hands under.
GlowFlow tap lights are available from plumbers in London and are easy to install – although it should be pointed out that they will not work on all faucet installations and you need to check the thread on the inside of your tap (20mm and 22mm female or 26mm male) to ensure the fittings are compatible.
GlowFlow taps lights cost between £10.00 and £15.00 to buy and represent excellent value for anybody who has ever had a child burn their hand because they were not conscious of the water temperature. More so, they cast a nice light over a bathroom when in use and can also be used in the kitchen or to light up an external water feature. You will have attractive protection for your family when you Glow with the Flow!
